Reserves

2000-2001: I made 8 appearances and 3 as a substitute.

2001-2002: I made 2 starts and 4 as a substitute.

2002-2003: I made ten starts and 3 substitute appearances.

Through out my 3 years as a scholar it was always difficult to establish my self in the second string until the 2002-2003 season.
In this season i became much stronger, more aggressive and had more experience at playing at this level which always helps. I started 80% of games however on some occasions there would be 7 or even 8 internationals playing in this team and ironically 4 of them happened to be centre halves! so i would find my self out of position or on the bench, which is always frustrating especially if u have played well the week before.
I missed the last couple of months of the season due to injury, but if the team keep getting the right results i will look forward to having a premier reserve league winners medal! Some of the internationals who i have played alongside in the reserves are:

As you can see the reserve league is of a very high standard, I have also enjoyed playing against other top names such as Kevin Lisbie, Svennson, Les Ferdinand, Gary Doherty, Andrea Kenchalskis, Don Hutchinson to name a few. I will hopefully take off next season were i left off this season.
