Targets
From my experiences I don't belive in setting too many targets and don't believe in looking too far ahead i like to take things day by day. The reason for this is football is very cut throat and can change in an instance, therefore u have to be on your toes and ready for whatever it has to throw at you.
My main target and ambition is to become
the first or on of the first Asian footballers to play in the premership and to
become a role model for other young Asian people who are trying to get involved
in football. I would also like to represent England at full international level
one day.
2000-2001: My target was to for the under 17s regularly and make some under 19
and reserve team appearances.
2001-2002: to play regularly for the under 19s and to make as many reserve team
appearances as possible.
2002-2003: to become a regular in the reserves after a couple of months in the
under 19s and to try and be involved in the England set up as much as possible.
My next target is to get my rehabilitation on the road as soon as possible and
to build up my strength in my upper body as it is vital to be strong in my
position.
I will have the time to do this more
seriously now, and I am counting the days until I am back in full training and
playing games.
If i manage to get picked for the Tournament of Toulon this would be a massive
bonus/reward this season i will be keep my fingers crossed but wont get my hopes
too high as there are no guarantees in football.
